Eligibility, determination, and access to Ministry funded supports and services is provided through Developmental Services Ontario (DSO). DSO is the new single window into adult developmental services in Ontario.

The DSO functions to:

• provide individuals and families with information about community programs and resources
• determine what services and supports people need, confirm they are eligible and connect people to specific programs

All ministry funded services require a referral from Developmental Services Ontario (the DSO). For more information visit the Developmental Services Ontario website.

Individuals and/or their families may purchase services and supports directly from Community Living Haldimand.

Service and supports that may be purchased include:

• in-home respite
• out-of home respite
• community participation supports
• recreational and leisure supports
